Corn on the cob is awesome, and not just because they can be fashioned into a sweet pipe. You can buy them frozen (cheaper and more nutritious than canned) at the supermarket, they last forever, and it is super easy to tack it on as a side dish to any other dish you are preparing on the grill – steak, chicken, hamburgers, you name it!

Here’s a simple way to prepare them on the same grill on which you’re already preparing the rest of the meal – lets hear it for multitasking!

Directions:

  1. Lay out 4 square sheets of tin foil (about 1 foot x 1 foot). Place a corn on the cob in the center of each square.
  2. Spread some of the butter on the top of each corn on the cob.
  3. Spoon about 1/2 of a tablespoon of the minced garlic onto each corn on the cob. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Wrap it up tight and place them on the grill on high heat for about 10 minutes.
  5. Unwrap the corn and place each cob directly on the grill for another 5 minutes, flipping every minute or so.
  6. Take them off the grill and serve!

Enjoy, dudes!

you can save a step and just leave the cob in the husk to cook it also. another thing is to soak the husk in water first then grill it. either way it will come out tasting like it was steam cooked

Can you do this straight from frozen or defrost the corn first?

Sweet blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News. Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News?

I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there!
    Cheers
